This is not a post about complaining, just so you know! 

I am very lucky I have a decent size client base and at the minute always busy. 

Its winter, its cold, dark as soon as you finish work and at the minute the kids are asleep by the time I get home.  Spending 3-4 hours a day commuting doesn’t help. 

So this post is really about my need to get back to what I like to do, take pictures. 

I am writing this to try and push myself to get back in the swing of it and shoot more of what I want, and to be honest isn’t really that hard I just want to be out in the streets taking pictures of my surroundings and the people within them. 

I feel like I am wanting to do more of this natural photography myself as most of my work is with models in a controlled environment. I want to enjoy using all aspects of the camera; focal lengths, iso,sutter speeds not just a flash in a studio.

So in the end hopefully you will see some fresh imagery coming through onto the site in the next few months. 

So I had a weekend off for once (not complaining), but I was able to take the chance to take a few pictures after a long week assisting. 

So me and Caleb went off to my friends and played around with a few lights and took some pictures. So the two dark and moody portrait on my work page are what came out of this weekend, they aren’t my best but ah well. 

I used a beauty dish and a umbrella as fill for some, but bearing in mind we were only in a front room of a friends house with cushions as flags. So yeah, it was only a bit of fun but nice to have the change. 

Caleb was enjoying it more than me, being my test subject for most. But as I have him as my model most of the time I tried something different. 

Hopefully going to get a few more tests done in the next month but we shall see how busy I am working first. 

So this is only going to be brief! 

What am I going to be talking about on this feed? 

Hopefully; personal experiences, photography, fashion and maybe even about how much I love watches? oh and work!

I am wanting to put one or two posts up a week but really don’t count on it!
